No confirmation email?

I booked an AP rate at Cabana Bay on the Universal website on Thursday night. I do have the page I printed once my reservation was complete, and it has a confirmation number. However I did not receive an email confirmation at all. My card wasn't charged for the deposit for a few days (Sunday) so I thought maybe I would get it then, but I didn't receive it then either. Is this typical or should I call?
 
I would call, just make sure your reservation was accepted and fully booked.
 
Thanks Lynne. I was hoping to avoid the long distance charges but I think I will have to call. I still don't have an email and I know I've gotten them in the past after a few days.

Use Google Hangout App to call! It's free to call from Canada to US. I used it a few times this year already calling WDW and UO!
 

I had this problem with my reservation also. They claimed they resent it, but it still did not arrive. I went online to the Loews site and put in the confirmation number they gave me over the phone, and was able to see and print my reservation from there.

Then I changed my e-mail on file to my gmail account, and am now getting the e-mails there.
 
Yes, if you go into your loews account it lists your bookings. I didn't get an email either when I booked online but my reservation is there.
 
Thank you everyone. I was able to bring up my reservation with the confirmation number I had on the actual Unviersal site. Because it's Cabana Bay, I didn't use my Youfirst account so I couldn't do it that way.
The only thing is that using "Retreive my Reservation" on the website just shows what my rate and total is. It doesn't reflect the deposit I've paid. But I have a print out that shows that, so I am not too concerned. I'll call before I go to make sure it's all correct.
 
Hi, that's one thing I don't like with Universal-I paid the deposit, then paid off the balance, they don't send anything to confirm receiving it-I keep everything to bring it with me. I did it a few years ago at RP, and it wasn't a problem, they had my payment in full, but I would really like something showing I paid in full with a zero balance for the cost of the room.
