No churros on Disneyland property?

Is it ironic that my son wanted to sell churros lemonade-stand style in front of our house yesterday so he could earn money to spend at Disney when we go next week? These truly taste so much like Disneyland churros (they were a huge hit!).

California churros in DTD ran out tonight, too (they posted on social media but said they'll have more tomorrow). It's the churro apocalypse, apparently.

At least my friend knew in advance and prepared her kiddo.

Smart And Final sells the exact same churros as Disneyland? How cool because I have a Smart And Final and may check them out for these. Do you bake them in the oven or eat them as snacks?

I saw that on social media, too.

Both are some of the few items that you can just stand in line for- no need to navigate mobile ordering - so I wonder if that’s pushed proportional demand higher?

I was amazed how many people still hadn’t used mobile ordering by the evening when we were there - there’s definitely a segment of park guests that just want to wait in line and buy food, and there aren’t a ton of places where it’s clearly available that you can do that.

You have to bake them to warm them up, but they are already fully cooked. S&F sells two sizes. The smaller size already has the cinnamon sugar so they are easy to heat and eat. The larger size are bare, and it comes with a pouch of cinnamon sugar that you have to roll them in after cooking, like they do at the parks. I buy the smaller ones.

Yep, you bake them in the oven and then roll them in the cinnamon and sugar (included). You can do as few or as many at a time as you want. They are seriously SO GOOD! Paying less than 50 cents per churro at home is really gonna make me pause at the $5 price tag at Disney in future

Interesting, my Smart & Final only sells the larger “bare” churros. They are delicious!
