Well, no. I know that ADRs don't "need" to be made so far in advance. Many guests like to make them then so they don't have to worry about there being no availability for their first choices. However, I have never read a report from someone who called for ADRs at the last week before their trip, who was told that there wasn't a seat to be had at any restaurant in any park, resort or DTD. So it's really a personal convenience and increasing the chances of perfectiion thing, rather than a matter of necessity. And that's why ensuring the list is absolutely accurate, months in advance, is probably not a major concern.mikey13v said:You of all people know that ADRs need to be made way in advance of check-in.
To quote Mick Jagger... "You can't always get what you want..."I would be much more rest assured if the list was kept current all the time.
Definitely. However, this kind of advance planning you're talking about is always based on chances and probability, "subject to change without notice", and so forth. Most of us folks here on the DIS visiting at the beginning of 2007 made reservations at restaurants not on the 2007 list, because we hoped they would be re-added to the list before 2007 began -- hoping that the list was preliminary. I recommend you do the same. You can always switch your plans around later, though of course, you may have more limited choices at that time. That's the nature of advance planning sometimes. It is understandable why people would be concerned with the information provided if they are currently planning their trip.
If you restriction your choices to just one park, and especially the MK, then yes there is a good chance will have trouble. Be forewarned and forearmed. Take your chances based on what you know, now, and as things change, do the best you can to make the best of whatever is available at that time.daisy58 said:Disney REALLY needs to update the list NOW...a complete description at the time of check in does not allow for ADR's..and in May 05, we only had one night without one, and it was virtually impossible to get a TS dinner at the MK that night!
Coral Reef and Le Cellier are just 1 TS credit restaurants. None of the Epcot restaurants are 2 credits. Hope that makes planning simpler for youdaisy58 said:And according to the Disney website, the only 2 TS
are Coral Reef and Le Cellier...2 that we very much want to try!
I wasn't clear...of the TS restaurants (1 TS each) not specialty dining, theyMomofKatie said:Coral Reef and Le Cellier are just 1 TS credit restaurants. None of the Epcot restaurants are 2 credits. Hope that makes planning simpler for you.
