No Character Breakfast?

Hey everyone!
I was playing around with some dates in December this past week. Earlier in the week I was able to "book" the Character Dining for our family, but when I did the same thing tonight I was unable to find any reference to a character meal!!!! Have they discontinued the meal or could it be the holidays? We want to go December 19-23-those are the dates I plugged in. Please respond if you have any info!

I think its too early to book December dates for Universal. Typically Grinchmas character breakfast is done 90 days out at the earliest.

I went to the Grinchmas breakfast last year at Confisco Grill at Islands of Adventure, and it was a lot of fun. The characters at the meal were the Grinch (think Jim Carrey Grinch), a couple of Whos, and the Cat in the Hat. The Grinch was fantastic. He visited every table several times, and he was very interactive.

When I was there, the character breakfast wasn't every day of the week. I called a few weeks in advance to make my reservation. The food was very good. They had green eggs and ham, and mount krumpet rice krispie treats. They also had the best french toast I've ever had. It was well worth the money.

That sounds fantastic! We're going to be there in December - I'm going to have to make sure to remember to call for a reservation in October.

I think you would enjoy the Macy's parade at the Studios...it's really cool!

They did have the Macy's balloons up all over Universal Studios, and those were really cool to see.

I recall that they were doing holiday concerts on Saturday nights.

When I was there a few years back, they had a great holiday show in Seuss Island. I'm not sure if they still do that or not.

Do they still do a breakfast with Spiderman and other characters year round, or do they do something different around Christmas? My son loves Spiderman and we were hoping to have breakfast with him or other super heroes.

yes, they still have the breakfast buffet with those characters at IOA/ confisco grille.

i'm booked for one in early october.
