Great Update Sara . Glad you were able to find the first aid. Also for lunch in Mexico without the birds driving you nuts. Betting the Margarita's helped. About the girl dancing along with Mariachi Cobre, I can just picture that after so many trips during F&W festival. Love the hat pictures, very cute.

WOW!! I go to Dallas for the weekend and come back to FOUR updates!! Impressive!! I'm all caught up! Ya'll got some GREAT pics in Epcot! I didn't see that sand display either when we were there. Your Photopass pics in AK were very good!! And we took the same route around the WS as you--hitting Mexico first! It was the first time I had been inside and taken the boat ride!! Can't wait to read more!

That'll teach you to go away for a fun weekend at the AG place in Dallas, Becky! (looks like you had such a good time...how fun)! I have eaten at the CS in mexico before but until a girls trip in December, I had NEVER made it into the actual ancient pyramid! And Shawn had never been in there before...

Great update Sara! The Mexican pavilion is pretty cool. I wanted to buy one or two of those gorgeous wooden animals...until I saw the price! Clay got our margaritas at that little stand too. It was a good thing we ate when we did or I would have been ready to for that nap! LOL That woman had definitely had one too many!

Those wood carvings are VERY pricey, but man they must be worth it - the amount of work that goes into them is amazing!

Thanks Nichole! Yes, the CS in Mexico was definitely an improvement this time around!! Yay! The nachos and the margaritas were both very good!! And the birds (for the most part) stayed away!

On our Thanksgiving 2007 trip (with the whole ginormous family) we cancelled our Coral Reef ADR and ate at the Cantina....BIG MISTAKE!!! It was about 4:00 in the afternoon and the birds were EVERYWHERE!!! Some were jumping on people's tables and we just had to keep our styrofoam lids on the food - it was not pleasant and I was so regretting not keeping our ADR at the Coral Reef.... This time around was much better! And that was probably why I was better able to enjoy the food - it was actually quite good!

I think this is the first time I've posted on your TR but I've read the whole thing. I'm an avid photographer and love TRs with lots of pictures. Shawn takes beautiful picures. Tell him You had me with the shoe thing, I had to stop and send my DH an email to tell him that story!

Love that you guys have had two margaritas already I thought we were the only crazy people who did that .

Love the update. I absolutely love the world showcase. Each country is so unique and fun.

I moved the date of our trip up to September so we are less than two months away! Plus, we have free dining.

My mom and Jeremy are both sooo excited. Tom is worried. He is beginning to think that mom may be worse than me when it comes to Disney planning . I ordered Jeremy a costume for the halloween party. He is going as Peter Pan so we have been watching Peter Pan in our house every night!

Thanks Lynn! And thanks for coming out of lurkdum to post! Pictures are just a hobby for Shawn, but he is constantly trying to learn more...he's thinking of actually taking a class... I think he does pretty well, being self-taught!

Yes, if you read the Thanksgiving trip, you could probably definitely sense my frustration at times, huh? The October 2008 trip was better though, and this trip...well...it was a whole different kind of trip!!

I've really enjoyed reading it from the perspective of someone who has done it both with and without kids, as I had concerns that it might lose some of it's magic going just with the DH and was trying to rope one of his daughters into coming with, just so we could have the gk along to entertain us. Thanks for catching up!! Hope you are feeling all better now! We were pretty relaxed on this trip - I love looking at all the pics and seeing that in our faces! I'm thinking a collage frame (as someone earlier said, I believe) of the flower pics is a great idea - a lot of them came out really nice.

You should taste Beverly at least once....it's nasty, but you'll always be wondering just HOW nasty if you don't taste it yourself.

Ugh....the feet.....stay tuned....

Thanks for reading! Yes a couples trip was a lot different, but also very nice. Spouses have to get some time alone and Disney is MY happy place, not just my kids....I did go back and forth with the guilt, then fun, then guilt, then fun....but I came home so happy we had done it! I hope to do it again someday! Gotta take the kids back first though.
