No Cars Land For WDW?

In light of the D23 announcements to expanding Hollywood Studios, does this mean that Cars Land will be exclusive to Disneyland and will not be coming to Florida?

There are no plans for Carsland in Florida. But considering its main attraction is essentially a test track mechanism would you really want it? Also it kind of seems like the flying saucers might be similar to what is replacing Luigi's flying tires.

I wouldn't count Cars Land completely out of the cards just yet, but don't count on seeing anything until at least after TSL if not SWL.

I think there needs to be unique things to keep the draw there for both coasts. WDW gets Toy Story Land (which won't be replicated at DL/DCA). I for one don't see the need to replicate Cars Land at WDW. I do think that building Star Wars Land at both is a good idea however.

I cannot imagine that anyone would want to ride Radiator Springs Racers when they can ride Test Track. They're basically the same thing!

... is what people may tell themselves to not be so sad about the fact that WDW has a vastly inferior attraction with a longer wait.

I agree with this. It works for me anyway. Why would I go to DL from the east coast or WDW from the west coast if DL and WDW had all the same stuff? I like to go to both because they are different.

I believe Radiator Springs Racers is the best ride in any Disney park right now. I think Carsland is amazing, however, I don't think it would work at WDW. I believe the volume of people that go to WDW would overwhelm Carsland and it would lose some of the charm. If you haven't been there, you really need to go see it!

so I guessed wrong but i don't think the 2 are same at all like indy and dinosore

I never said they were identical layouts. It is well known that RSR uses a next generation test track mechanism.

I never said they were the same thing. And once again it is well known that RSR uses a next generation test track mechanism. And considering I pretty much visit them both, I don't need to tell myself that so as to not be so sad I cry myself to sleep.

Fair enough. But when you ask:
But considering its main attraction is essentially a test track mechanism would you really want it?

the answer is "Hell yes I would really want it, because RSR is way, way, WAY better than TT."

There's that. But I'd rather see them just make Test Track better instead and put a totally different thing in the studios. But I can see where those that don't go out to DLR would want Carsland.

I was out at DL last week for D23, it is awesome. But I wouldn't want it repeated, why have the same thing? The differences are what makes me want to go to both.

Maybe to some but we didn't find it vastly superior. I'm one who hopes it never comes to WDW. Not because I don't like it but because I don't think they need to put the same attractions on both coasts. I hope they remain different
