Another $0 day, but it won't be a string of three. Miss Luna Lovegood will be getting a groom, a pedicure, and her teeth brushed.:dogdance: I promised to deliver a claw trimmed dog to my parents next friday, and really they are saving $21 bucks a night for 8 nights, so I can pop off for a groom. Usually I do the nails, teeth, and bathing myself, but I've only got two days off before we go. *sigh* Then I've got to get dogfood, treats, and a new chew toy. I may also do the grocery shopping and go to Sams tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Don't let frustration get to you! Just remember each day is a new day!:cheer2:

Well, 9/4 was a total bust. I had a REALLY BAD DAY, so I ordered an expensive lunch (comfort food) only to discover after eating healthy for two weeks, I didn't feel comforted at all. I felt kinda' ill - hadn't had pasta in a while, and I spent all that money! 100.00 on a birthday party I was asked to hostess ON THURSDAY; the party starts at 4pm today. At least it isn't at my house anymore, and my new bras are working out GREAT! No "four ****" syndrome -I know they will be worth it long term....I also found the last bra for the wardrobe yesterday, and it is a WOWZA! and it was on sale, so I ordered it. Sigh.

I know I'll ending up spending some on the Bday party again today - but it is for one of my best friends and totally worth it - I just wish her husband had asked me in advance so I could have planned for this!

Ashamed to write my totals - they are just huge, and I feel so embarrassed.

Thanks for the support!

Mrs. Spratt

Hi again :wave2:

If you recall, I gave up last month in the middle because I forgot to track when I went back to work, and the categories I had were too narrow and it made tracking a real beast.

So...September has only 5 discretionary categories, not the 9 from before. And on here, I'm just counting up for each category as the month goes along.
Gas $17.99
Car Maintenance $0 so far
Groceries $84.45
Eating Out $13.03
Miscellaneous $113.44

1- Groceries 84.45, Gas 17.99
2- $0 :woohoo:
3- $0 :woohoo:
4- $0 :woohoo:
5- Petsmart $3.80, Walmart $63.18, Target $46.46
6- $0 :woohoo:

I was going to participate this month but with back to school, etc, I'm spending a whole ton of money that I wouldn't normally spend.

I'm going to start in October and keep track of every penny.

What are the "rules" of this thread? Is it that you post your planned budget and then update each day with your spending?

I'm also just starting the TMMO by Dave Ramsey and have the workbook, so that should give me some insight, ideas, etc
