Nov 3 - $10 in gas (all the cash I had with me ... :confused3) and $8 on a Christmas gift for my sister.

Honestly, I count my zero days because there aren't many of them ... lol. But, I completely agree that I could have 20 zero days and still spend way more than I need to on the other days because I don't care. I'm really trying to curb my spending ... lol ... it's just harder than it works.

I won't be able to finish my October month until this weekend because my phone is being screwy ... oh well.

Yesterday was a bad day and on the way home from work I was so tempted to stop for fast food. But I decided I didn`t want to use up my eat out days so soon. I`m very happy with my self.

Kim - Finding money totally counts. :thumbsup2

I too am still finishing my October numbers. *sigh*

DH made fun of me last night because I returned something for a few dollars. I bought DD some clearance Halloween stickers during my grocery run at Target because everything was 50% off. Well they didn't ring up on sale. I went to customer service and asked about the stickers, the girl called over her supervisor, and they decided maybe the item wasn't on sale. I didn't make a big stink about it so rather than giving me the discount, I just had them return the item. So I got $3.20 back including tax. They were super cute so part of me wishes I had just kept them, but I didn't really need them so returning was the better decision.

I am just NOT doing well this week. I blew my allowed food budget for the week already- I mean, it's not gone, just more spent so far than planned. DD10 has been sick, and we've been running, DH is OOT and I am at my wits end with selling this house and her being sick. These are the times we really have to watch it though, right?!

Okay so i have a COOL app on my iTouch to track spending. it was $.99 that I am using!

Food-2 week budget is $300, already spent $119:eek:
School(homeschooler)-spent $27 on a writing curriculum for DD10
Clothing-spent $130 but did REALLY well at a consignment shop and Target for me and my kids, but mostly DD11(got 2 pairs jeans, 2 sweaters, 5 shirts, a dress for DD10 for church)

:cheer2: Woohoo!! I had a similar issue today. The lady across the hall was selling candy for $1. Ohhhh I wanted some so bad! But my hips don't need it and doggonit today was GOING to be a $0 day! And then later she tried to sell me cans of Coca Cola (my FAVORITE!!) for 50c but I still stood strong! :woohoo:

annsteer & Where'sPiglet? Thanks so much for your support and encouragement!

You're welcome! That's is what this thread is for! Support and encouragement! :goodvibes

Good job on the fast food! :thumbsup2 It is totally one of my downfalls!

If achieving $0 days will be difficult for you, then maybe modify it for yourself to have $0 days in certain categories only, or just to do dollar amount limits for each week, like $150/week as well as $600 overall.
