Welcome! This is my first no-buy month as well. It has helped me stopped buying those silly little things I don't need and we're using up a lot of food we already have. You are so right about that. This thread is very motivating. So many times I would be tempted to spend $1 or even less. It isn't much but I'd resist for a $0 day. A buck here and a buck there adds up.

Anyway, good luck. I hope it helps you. I have a secondary challenge as a friend of mine not on DIS is doing it with me too.
