March 1 $0
March 2 $84 groceries, $109 dance tuition, $7 DH prescription
March 3 $5 HipHop Shoes

So, today should have been a $0 day, but DD10 needed HipHop shoes. I was waiting till they go on sale on March 15 but today someone put a pair in her size, just about brand new in the resale box. They never have HipHop shoes so I grabbed them. Had I waited they would have been gone. We are talking $60 shoes for $5!!! So, I feel like it was a wise purchase. PLUS, it would have been almost $5 in gas just to get to the dance store, so I am excited!!!

Also tonight I had to renew my CPR class. Usually I pay for it, but with my new P/T job, they paid for it AND paid me to go to it. So that is pretty great too!!!

March 4 $0 And I am proud of this one. I spent the whole morning shopping for my 2 Girl Scout troops. I stayed on task, on my list and spent only troop funds on what was needed. My DD14 has had the same bus driver since kindergarten. I knew she was retiring but didn't realize it was till tomorrow till she told me tonight. I was going to go buy a gift, but remembered a nice box of truffles I got as a gift and was trying to to eat myself so I am giving her those and she wrote a nice message in a blank card we had. So, I was able to save a few calories (actually, a lot more then a few!) and spend $0 today!

This is my first no buy month :)
My goal is 10 no buy days.

Budget
$200 - groceries/food (but the past 2 months we've spent $250, so I expect to go over but want to try SO hard to stick to just $200 since we have so much food in the cabinets already that we can use)
$150 - gas
Misc - $30

3/1 - $0!

3/1 - $0!
3/2 - $1 groceries, $9.61 misc
3/3 - $6.16 groceries (we ran out of bottled water and milk)
3/4 - thought yesterday was a no buy day, but at 10pm DH's gas light came on driving home from work - $25 gas
3/5 - $12.85 misc, $79.93 groceries

we were out of a lot of stuff, and I stocked up on some things. We went to Walmart, Sav a Lot, Martin's, and CVS. I hope to not spend anything on groceries next week except for maybe milk, eggs, bread. Tomorrow we're going to a meat place that has lunch meat/cheese for really good deals and it's really good. I'm going to get enough for 2 weeks. Sunday will be a no buy day :)
