I refuse to give up........usually I get this far into the month and life takes over and I lose track. Well I have lost track of my exact expenditures but I am using the envelope system this month and I can tell you that I have $274 left in the food budget envelope and $80.00 left of my $100 allowance. I am not going to get discouraged because I have lost daily tabs. I'm just going to "keep swimming, keep swimming". :fish:

We have been succesful at not eating out except for my one sandwich at the beginning of the month, and that was only to head off a hypoglycemic episode. :rotfl:

I have purchased this month out of my food money seeds and plants for the garden (the garden does feed us almost all our veggies for the year), I also bought the years worth of beef and pork with it. So I honestly haven't spent much on day to day groceries. We have so much in the house we are eating that. I will not be defeated! :worship:

Hi all! I don't think I've spent any of MY money the past two days, but I have spent DSis's. I'll be doing her grocery shopping for a while - I might have to post that here - it's just too weird to be spending money and NOT report it to No Buy - I am too trained! :lmao:

I got my $4 back but since it's in cash I'm sticking it into the WDW fund. ;)
$39 Kroger~gas
$192 Kroger
I went to the grocery store and it ended up being one of those insanely long stock up trips. Too bad I had the boys with me, whining the whole time. *sigh* My fault for going at lunchtime but we did manage to avoid tantrums which makes listening to the whining worth it. I have to go back though since the cashier didn't scan one of my coupons and it was for $4 so not just a little bit. I got more than a month's worth of meat, plus 4 bottles of kiddie vitamins ($30 just for those) so my total trip was $192. Well they owe me $4 back so $188. ;)
