I was actually planning on spending money today by going grocery shopping but I ran out of time. So hooray for another "no spend" day! But seriously I have to go to the grocery store tomorrow. I need fruits, veggies, bread, milk, all the essentials. Plus my Kroger is having their case lot sale! But I'm going write a list and try to keep myself in check!

This to me is the same as a morgage, insurance and all that. It is a necessity. So while I am writing it down for my benefit to know where the money went, I am calling today a no spend day. Total- $72.96 It was a day off from school so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to do something with them, but we played outside (it was 86 today) and made peanut butter playdough (like at Coral Reef.)

I went on the DISUnplugged Podcast cruise 1.0 in May and my dad told me no more trips until I am out of debt....so I knew I wanted to be on the 2nd podcast cruise this December. Doing this really does give you lots of extra cash in your pocket!

Finally made it to the grocery store today! I stuck to my list....mostly I went to Winco and bought lots of fruits and veggies that were on sale for really cheap. I tried to stick to the perimeter of the store. After I had all the stuff I needed for the next week I also bought a couple cases of canned veggies that were on sale! I was pretty happy with the trip. I got all my essentials and I was able to add to my pantry. I did have quite a few coupon items as well, which really helped lower my total.
