No BOG reservations at 180+10

hi everyone

I have a reservation for August for 14 days. I know I can book 180+10 days or 180+length of stay. Everyday I try to book BOG like yesterday or today for 5th or 6th of August and all dinner reservations is gone at 6.00am. It’s possible to get lunch or breakfast but dinner is all gone.

I’ve been trying to get for 5,4 or even 2 persons and they are all out.

Just curious how all dinner reservations can be out SO fast unless ofc I’m missing something?

Possible refurb of some sort (which doesn’t make total sense with breakfast and lunch still open), a switch to possibly signature dining, but nothing has been a solid rumor and until it pops up on the news roundup 2018 thread I don’t give any rumor much credibility. I heard the same complaints for July dinner ADRs so naturally I went looking and found several. Maybe they were not released with breakfast and lunch ADRs? I’ve never been able to find dinner so I was surprised to snag one for July when people said there were 0 available. Frankly it seems BOG times have been flaky lately. For a long time no PPO breakfasts were available from like May on. Then those just opened up a few days ago for May until July/August.

I don’t have any insight on why they are all taken but I can say I have had success getting BOG dinner and PPO breakfast reservations at less than 30 days out by using touring plans reservation finder.

Agree it sounds strange, and maybe a change is on the way. Knowing Disney they could make it a signature thingy and make some more $$$ on the reservations. That will also decrease demand and perhaps make the inventory more widely available.

Wonder when the August dates will open up then. Can’t set up a search with touringplans just yet.

That’s most likely because cancellations happens and not because inventory has been held back.

You can set up the search now, and it will sit in a "pending" queue until the window opens up and then it will start to search for your dates/times. I set it up in advance to make sure I don't forget when the window opens. I have a BOG search set up for August it will start searching next week, and for the October trip I already have the search saved and it will start searching in April.

Thanks, I actually already set it up and as you said it’s in pending mode until early next month.
