No BCV this week

We were due to arrive this past Sunday at BCV. We had planned and researched BCV since May. On Saturday we changed plans to arrive on Monday. Then the airport didn't open early enough to get us in so the flight was canceled.

The good news was that MS was very helpful on Monday. We rebooked to 11/14 to 11/19. The only thing open was a two bedroom at OKW. I had been over looking all of the OKW posts all summer.

MS does a fantastic job. It only took fifteen minutes or so to rebook, and cancel all of the PS for this week.

Now I have to just read up on how to change that countdown clock. Hope the weather is better in November!

Does anyone think it would hurt to try to see if a two bedroom was open at BCV about two weeks out?

Why not just on a wait list right now? That way if it does open you will get it.

Congratulations on being able to re-book. You are right about MS. They do a great job. It must be stressful down there right now.

It certainly can't hurt to put yourself on the waiting list for BCV, but I'd make sure MS realizes that you are only interested if you can book the whole stay at BCV (not day-by-day). I wouldn't want to move in the middle of my stay!

Either way, you won't be disappointed staying at OKW. The rooms are enormous!

get on the wait list - or start checking yourself - at the 40 days mark - generally lots of cancellations before the 31 days kicks in and the points have to go to holding.

I agree with HBC, get on a waitlist now, then do a new waitlist at 30 days out. Just note that 11/14 is the last day of the Epcot Food & Wine fest and the last day of Super Soap Weekend at MGM, so that Sunday night might be difficult to snag.

Good luck!
