No availability in October?? Am I crazy?

I am DVC, and even when booking at 7 months, we still had 2 nights we couldn't get SSR for. It took looking multiple times per day until we finally were able to book each one separately several months later. It is certainly getting very competitive in Oct... even though it doesn't seem crowded when we're there which is great!
