No availability first week of June

Hi Everyone,

I was looking at adding another room for the first week of June (1-9). When I went to the website it showed that there is zero availability on Disney property. This was surprising- I thought something, even a suite, would be open.

Are the hotels that are open full to capacity or at a reduced capacity?
Is there something going on that it is completely full?

Thanks!

Not all of the hotels have opened, so there are fewer rooms available on property. The ones that are open seem to be pretty full, although I do not know if Disney is selling all the rooms in each open resort.

It's the beginning of school break in many parts of the country and more people are vaccinated so travel is increasing.

The hotels that are open are at full capacity, except for CL accommodations. I just tired and rack rate is available at...
  • ASMovies
  • CBR
  • AoA
  • CR
  • CR/BLT
  • FW Cabins
It does seem that you are out of luck if you wanted a discounted room, I think that inventory is all sold. Demand is huge this summer as people are desperate to make up for lost travel. Edit: AoA suite is only thing available at the discount.

I've tried 3 times the past 2 days and it is showing no availability at ANY rate.

How many guests? I tried 3 people (it auto-filled, we're a family of 3)....but used June 1-June 9 per your post. I'm happy to try again (it's either that or work). Try a different browser or an Incognito window and see what you find.

$$$$ raking it in 🤣. Lucky for those that grabbed what they could, when they could. Perhaps, Keep trying? Good luck to you!

I just tried to search on those dates and at first it also gave me no availability, because it is trying to search for a discounted rate. If you play around with it, you can change it from the promotion to a room or package and then you should see rack rate availability at a few different resorts. I see the same as what @maltdizzy posted above.

I agree, I noticed it was not intuitive to change whether to search for a discount or not at the search filter level.

When I check those dates (2 adults, 2 children) I have pop century and art of animation that come up as available. Both with the discount, but AOA only gave the option of suites.

Ah yes, I see now that if go off the discounted rate there are a few more options. It seems like a strange way to search.

Okay, I still find this odd. I put in June 1-9. 2 adults and 2 kids (6 and 8). Incognito window. No discounts.

It only shows me AoA.

Let's try something...
  1. Do what you just did and get to the screen with only AoA available (if you haven't left the page)
  2. Select Art of Animation and let it go through to the room rates
  3. Beneath the date info, but above the room rates, there should be three button options...Room; Package; Save Up to 30%...
    1. Make sure "Room" is selected
  4. At the top of the page, below the white main menu, there should be a line in a blue field that says.... Home > Resort Hotels > Disney's Art of Animation Resort > Rates Rooms
    1. Click on "Resort Hotels"
  5. Now what do you see?

I just tried searching pop century and got the same looking page you did, but when I click on the special offer dot they are all showing availability, so I hope it works for you too!

Okay... what? lol. I followed what Maltdizzy said (actually it took me about 5 different tries doing different things) and finally got resorts to show up. I don't understand why that was so challenging.

Mermaid studio $268
Family suites (Cars or Lion King) $523
