I voted yes. The 20% off dining (buying the DDE) and the 30% off golf is good enough for at least my dh to have an AP. We have also used if for discounts at Basin and the World of Disney in DTD. We use our AP's for discounts on tours, boat rentals, and miniature golf. We'll be able to do the Passholder Previews of Epcot's newest attraction Soarin' on our trip. :)
We might even use it at the GF Spa and the the Water Sports Centre at the CR this trip. I find it hard to remember all of the discounts.
One thing that's nice is that our family staggers buying our AP's. My youngest and I need one for this trip. It's not such a sticker shock :earseek:

Yes, I'll renew my AP. I make two trips a year, May & December and each trip is about 7 days. I have been an annual passholder for at least 10 years, maybe more.

Anyone remember when they put your picture on the AP? I liked that better than the biometric scanner.

I make two trips to WDW every year: total 28 to 32 days. Big savings using the AP on admission so will continue to purchase AP's.
The room discounts are a big bonus, but without a room discount I will still go to Disney: just stay off-site on #192.

I don't buy for the dicount on the rooms, I buy to go to the parks. I live just under 3 hours away & the way I go, I couldn't afford it to buy hoppers each time... there are times I stay onsite & times that I don't ... also most of the time onsite, I get FL resident rate...

We saved a bundle with our AAA discount, so unless the AP codes save us another bundle, I'll be purchasing 10 day MYW passes. It won't be a big surprise if there aren't lots of new codes this year as the new passes are such a good deal. We're staying two weeks on property and I'm trying to get the most magic all the while maximizing my Disney dollar and at the moment AAA and MYW are helping me do just that.

I voted no because the discount is part of what makes an AP a good deal for us. Unfortunately, we are only to use it once a year. The MYW passes will be the way we will go from now on.

I voted no, sadly. The discounts are what enable us to do a few short trips during the year, which then makes the AP worthwhile. If the discounts go by the wayside, we'd probably go to Disney every 2, 3, 4 years instead of 2 or 3 times a year.

Maybe. I only bought APs this year because i was planing on taking extra trips. We have a close freind who works for disney so they get us discounted rooms.

I voted "no", but not because I feel entitled to an AP room discount. However, if I will be looking at paying rack rate for on-site rooms, I won't be able to afford to go as often, thus not making it worth the $$ for an AP.

Same for me. Without discounts, I won't be able to afford more than a week, so it wouldn't be cost effective to buy an AP. Hopefully, they'll keep the AP discounts for awhile.
