No Animal Kingdom Lodge Points Left to Sell

We tried to do an add-on at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and we were told all of the points they had left sold out this past weekend. They only have Saratoga Springs points left. We already own at Saratoga and we weren't interested in adding on any more points there. We also already own some Animal Kingdom points, but feel we need more. Has anyone else tried to buy points this week?

they just need to declare more units (they might be waiting for Kidani to open up)--trust me--they are NOT sold out--tell you rep. you want them, or just call back in a few months and there will be plenty. We are adding on in 1 year or so at AKV and our rep said no problem.

We needed June Use year and they were sold out. Our rep. took our credit card info and put us on the list. She said it may take a couple of months to get more June points. That was a couple of weeks ago. Hope we hear something soon.

AKV is still selling. The problem is for add-ons there are some use year months for which they don't have points and they will sell you an add-on only in the use year you already have. Thus, when they told you it was sold out they meant the use year month that you already have.

June seems pretty popular. When we added on last year, we had to go on the waitlist too, but only for a few weeks. And they held the price for us.

I think it may just be certain UY that are low on points until they declare more units into inventory. I talked to my guide yesterday about adding on 160 pts and he said it could be done immediately. We have a March UY.

Talked to my guide this week and he stated that only 07 use years were sold out. Now they are selling Feb 08 use year. So you currently will not get any points retro to 07.

Just got off Disney Magic, while on board we did an add-on for AKV, they had to break up the 160 pts into two contracts, one for 95 and another one for 65. I wasn't sure why and didn't asked, but it sort of make sense now.

We added on (VWL) for AKV a couple of weeks ago for June UY. We don't get points until June 08 though.

Just got back from Doorway to Dreams in Chicago and the CM there said that we could add on at AKV for our Feb use year. We would get points for Feb 08, but not 07. The points will be declared in Kidani. He said that all Jambo House points for our use year are gone.

I am waitlisted for 07 points with an Oct UY. The only reason I am holding out hope is they sold alot of Oct UY points in December so there could be some contracts being returned. My rep also said that earlier UY's would be very difficult to get with 07 points. They are already selling OCT 08 UY which are deeded to Kidani.

Before they can sell there, they have to file paperwork with the county and nothing has appeared yet on the county's website. It takes a week or so before the documents are available on the website so I will keep looking but it does seem a bit early for them to be selling Kidani.

December, we get the 07 pts also.

We boaught AKV points earlier this year (closed in Feb) we were told we got some of the last points. We have an Oct UY.
