Anyone know why the All Stars would already have no availability the first week of May? All of them show as fully booked for a party of 4 when I run a search on the website.

Well cheerleading summit is 5th-7th and I imagine a lot of the families stay since that is the last competition of the season. I would think it be earliest any would check out is the 8th. If my daughters team makes it to summit we will be staying through the 12th.Looking the week of May 8, so I thought the cheerleaders would be gone by then. That's why I was surprised. It's usually a rather low crowd time.
Definitely worlds and summit. If you're not a cheerleader, you don't want to stay at any all star that week. Pretty cool if you are a cheerleader or a cheer mommy though![]()
Or if you're not a teenage boy!
Okay I just knew about Worlds. Our second choice was Fort Wilderness and that should be clear.Yes, it's due to three major cheer competitions. Worlds is April 29-May 1, Summit is May 5-7 and the D2 Summit is also at WDW this year and is May 12-14.
How do these cheer competitions affect park crowds?
In our experience, they don't.
Yes,Mickey Mouse Field at Disney's All-Star Resort is referred to by teenaged boys as "The Most Magical Place On Earth"!lolMy first stay at Sports I had Dance Team girls, EVERYWHERE, the day before I checked out Boys Basketball checked in.....very happy boys EVERYWHERE LOL
