I tried to get an ADR for 'Ohana on our arrival day (Jan 14). It is supposed to be a slow time so I'm surprised they have no availability. There are 5 of us and I wonder if our family size is the problem. The CM told me we could split our reservation into 2 with no guarantee of sitting together.

How difficult would it be to walk-in around 6 and get a table?

If you're planning on trying to get a walk up, I suggest you arrive as soon as they open for dinner at 5 PM.

Your other options are to keep calling, especially at the 45 day mark when people cancel trips when they realize they can't afford it and balances are due.

Or you could try to get a ressie once you arrive in Disney as people cancel their reservations when plans change.

If they can fit you in by splitting the reservation, I would do that and then keep calling back. We had to make a reseravation that way and they told us they almost always try to fit everyone together or move tables, etc. Like they said no guarentee, but then you at least have a reservation.

We've had split reservations several times and have never had a problem . It was dh, myself and three kiddos under 5 and the restaurants never even asked about teh split tables, just placed us together when we checked in.

If you can't get an adr before you go, like someone mentioned, keep calling then when you are down there call the day you want to go and check to see if there is a cancellation. I know a family that was there two weeks ago and she called from the Magic Kingdom to see if there were any available spots and they got in ok, someone had cancelled. You just never know. We went two weeks ago and we enjoyed, but they were running way behind and it was packed. I think we waited 45 minutes past our reservation time and we arrived early to check in.

You are arriving on the Wednesday leading into MLK weekend. It's one of the busiest times at WDW. Did you take the split ressie? I would take just in case but then would arrive early and request to be seated togther.

We had a split ressie at LeCellier and they sat us together no questions asked:goodvibes . I'd take the split one so you at least can get in
