No ADRs at Big River Grille?

I just spoke to someone at WDW Dining about making an ADR for Big River Grille and she said that her computer wasn't showing that they make ADRs for Big River Grille. Is this true? I know it's not the most popular restaurant, but since we will be there during Super Soap Weekend, I though I would make an ADR.

Yup, true

On our trip to BW last April, same story, no ADR's for Big River Grille. Great meatloaf there!

We ate at BRG last fall, and they do not take ADRs for it on the Disney Dining Line. The restaurant itself, however, DOES accept ADRs (why only through them and not Disney Dining, I don't know).

I called about 3 weeks before the date we wanted to eat there, and there were quite a few openings. I don't think they accept ADRs as far aout as Disney Dining does (180 days)- I think it's more like 30 days. But you could call the restaurant directly and ask. The number is (407)560-0253.

No ADRs & they don't accept the DDE card either (so I'd imagine they won't accept the plan either). It's because they're a chain restaurant---they're partnered with Disney, like the Swan & Dolphin resorts are, but are not a Disney restaurant. From my understanding, there's a few restaurants like that, but I do not know the list.

BRG does accept and honor the Dining Plan. They are a 1TS restaurant. There are several non-Disney run restaurants on property that do take the Dining Plan.

Call the restaurant direct for ADRs.

Thanks everyone! I just assumed that since they were on the dining plan that they would take ADRs.

Is the same true for ESPN at the Boardwalk and Planet Hollywood, too?

We ate at the Big River Grille on Wednesday night (june 7). We got there around 5:15 and said we had 6 for dinner. They seated us immediately...no reservation required.

We did get there pretty early, but it didn't seem to hard to get a reservation.

My mother-in-law loved the chicken, I loved the hamburger and the service was excellent. Our server went way out of his way to be nice to us. And we didn't drink that much or order super expensive stuff...and he was just great! :yay:
