No ADR's am I crazy?

I've actually booked party of four tables and then went in later and modified it to a lower number. When you do that it will show the same reservation time you booked originally.

I have had to book for 4 instead of 2 many times over the years. The modify down to 2 later has never worked for me. It’s always said, no times available. So I don’t even worry about modifying it now. We just say 2 when we check in whether online or in person. Never had an issue showing up with 2, including at prepaid CRT.

Last May when we were at WDW. I only made one ADR which was at the Boathouse and my mom made one at the House of Blues. I thought about making more, but I didn't feel like it was necessary to eat at sit down restaurants in WDW. It was easier to do quick serivce. I can eat at restaurants at home. I just went with the flow for food and it worked out. lol

We only booked multiple ADR's for our Honeynoon. Usually, we just eat when hungry and have developed our fav qs list.

For my trip in 3 weeks, I have one ADR and it's on a non-park day. In the parks will be 100% quick service or walk up, and I'm looking forward to it! My plan is to try some of the bars and lounges at Magic Kingdom resorts, get into Trader Sam's for the first time, and eat festival foods in Epcot.

I said I wasn't going to make ADRs but I kind-of caved, a little. I have ADRs for Sangria University and Hoop de Doo, both of which seem to book up WAY in advance, and one for Boma on our last night because it's our favorite restaurant anywhere and we don't want to miss out.

My adult daughter and I did a 14 day trip with no ADRs and it was so relaxing not constantly having to be somewhere. We used the bars/lounges a lot and never had a problem finding a seat. Homecoming, Jaleo, Boathouse, WBG in DS. Flying Fish, HBD, Nomad, Geyser Point. We made last minute ADRs for MP, Jiko and GF cafe. It was very easy.

You are not crazy.

We went in March...spring break time frame...and had no ADR ahead of time. None.

We got same day reservations for Oga's, Steak House 71, Cape May and Sanaa without any issues. You just need to be flexible with your desired times. It was the best trip we've had since the pandemic.

If you aren't totally set on eating at table service restaurants and aren't too picky, it could be fun to just do last minute checking (aka day of or night before) for ADRs or do quick/counter service/mobile orders, or go to the food kiosks at Epcot if you happen to be there during a festival. We always used to book breakfast and dinner (never ate lunch when doing two table service meals - too much food) ADRs well in advance. But over the last few trips, we started being a little more flexible, especially now that there are much better and healthier options for quick/counter service than 10-15 years ago. And occasionally, we'd check in mid-day for a dining reservation for that evening and pick something that was acceptable to us. It meant that we'd end up going somewhere we'd never have thought of before but that's how we found some places we ended up liking. We've started having a light breakfast in the room (yoghurt, fruit, granola bars, bagel) and then grazing during the day and then doing an ADR for dinner that we'd either booked in advance or picked up that day.

As long as nothing has changed, Prime Time allows walk ups! We’ve done it the last few times and had to wait about 30 min. Good luck!
