So we are going on DVC points in July so I need to buy park tickets separately. I thought I heard that AAA sells discounted tickets, but the link on their page goes straight to the Disney ticket buying site. So do they not provide discounts, or only if you call or go to a local site?
Any help is appreciated!

I do have the mousesavers link to the undercover tourist discounts, and some others, but am trying to do my due diligence price comparisons before taking the plunge.

TIA!

CALL your local AAA Travel office.

And, EACH office of AAA in your general area may have different tickets to offer.

No they don't! I was dissapointed as well. When I called the office locally they didn't even sell them. So I called an office 1hr away and they sold ONLY 4 day Park hoppers.

Mouse savers saved us about $50 on 5 tickets buy using the undercovertourist link. I have used them before and they are great. They will even refund your tickets in the case of a hurricane!

It depends on your local AAA office. As a PP suggested, I would call to inquire. I do have AAA and found the mousesavers link to undercover tourist was the greatest savings. Not huge but at approx. $50 per ticket it can add up. Good luck!

$50 per ticket?

I think they must mean $50 total, because the prices I'm getting are about $18-20 cheaper than Disney gate prices, not $50/ticket! Still, $50 is nothing to sneeze at, it's a meal (or almost a meal) for 4. But if people are really getting a savings of $50/ticket on things like 7-day park hopper + waterparks, please let me know what I'm doing wrong!

That was the reason for my surprise, as well. ;)

The legitimate authorized WDW ticket discounters are selling "real" WDW tickets.
They are purchased at a discount from WDW.

Disney does not generally make those kind of deep discounts on their tickets,
especially on tickets having less than the maximum number of days and "upgrades."

It depends on the type of ticket you are looking for. It's about $44 savings per ticket if you buy a 10 day hopper w/water park & non expiration through Undercover Tourist.

Prices and deals can vary over time.

Here's the current info from Undercover Tourist:

Park Hopper + Water Park Fun & More (Fun Visits) (10 day) - No Expiration

SAVE $37 off (Adult) gate price $555.00 $531.00

Fair enough - I see that now, although the $44 on the mousesavers link looks like the max per ticket. I'm looking at a 7-day Park Hopper plus - although oddly enough I'm just looking again at Undercover Tourist and seeing that it's actually cheaper to buy an 8-day Park Hopper Plus ($341.95 for the 7-day, $335.95 for the 8-day - although the kids 8-day is $1 more than the 7-day. ) Weird!

I didn't even think about calling my AAA office. I always forget I'm a member! :upsidedow

I saved ~$50 with UT using the Mousesavers discount (three 6-day base tix).

I don't have this months discount code for tickets on Undercover tourist from Mousesavers...anyway someone could pm it to me, please?!

Here in GA the discounts on the 3 day hoppers is only like $5 per ticket.

Last time I went, my dad bought our park tickets from our local AAA office.... and saved a whopping $5 per ticket.

If you're with a large party of 6, 7, 8 or more, then it's certainly worth it. But if there's only gonna be 5, 4, or less of you guys traveling, then I would just do whatever is easiest to get the tickets (and, if that happens to be AAA, then go for it! haha)

I've always bought our WDW tickets at AAA for the discount. Mine has every kind of ticket you could ever want. I just assumed they all did that. :confused3
I'm AAA East Penn near Allentown, PA.

I just went on their website and 7 day park hopper with water park fun and more is $16.24 cheaper with AAA. ($359.99 vs. $343.75)
Not a huge savings, but it'll add up depending on the amount of tickets you need.

Our AAA here in Pottstown has pretty much all the tickets as well. I bought my families tickets there in June, and the discount was better than undercover tourist and I could drive over to the office and had them right away. I also got the diamond parking pass. Since we rented a car for that trip it was a great perk.

I just picked up our tickets last week at our AAA and I saved about $60 (2A/2C 9day hoppers) verses buying them from Disney and like the PP said I got the Diamond Pass too.

It is $60 more I can spend at Disney!!!:lmao:

Please tell me what the diamond pass is! Do I buy it directly from AAA? I am a member. THANKS!!!

I don't know if all Diamond Passes are the same, but we always book a package through our local AAA and you get the pass with the package. Some of the perks include free parking at the parks, discounts throughout the parks at designated shops and restaurants, discounts off mini golf and the sea raycers, coupon for Planet Hollywood, a special storytime for kids at the MK, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few more. In the past we have also gotten luggage tags, duffel bags, and even Disney Dollars, it depends on your local office and their promotions.

I'd call them and see. :thumbsup2

Sorry, but I don't believe that the Diamond Pass includes free parking.
(You get free parking by staying at a WDW Resort.)

The Diamond Pass allows parking in a special section at each of the theme parks' parking lots.

It is closer-in to the gates, but has limited space, so those spaces might fill up on busy mornings.
