I have read so many posts here about just this sort of thing. People paid their money and the leader took the money and there was no sharing of anything but misery. No idea if that is what has happened here, but these things take a lot of trust, and often the payers get nothing.

I searched and found her thread. The dates were for late August - Sept shares? When were your dates? Did they have another share for now? Okay I have to add more, I found her thread for the May share also. She was online on the 19th. of this month. If you paid by paypal you can dispute the charges and do the pre-order of the cd at $100.00 and do your own account.

Her trip was May 9th to May 16th so the fuse has started burning. I'm unable to post in that thread since it's locked and cannot PM the members who posted there yet since I'm new. Can anyone help PM them and let them know about this thread? I'm just trying to find out if anyone else has been able to contact her. Actually the PayPal account belongs to the mother. I tried filing a PayPal dispute but it looks like the transaction exceeded 45 days. (When I tried it was day 46... sigh...) Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

No I understand why the disboards did away with these swaps.

But I dont think I would have joined a swap with someone with less the 50 posts.

I agree with one of the posters--- do your own so you dont lose your photos.

and hoping you paid via paypal so you can dispute the charge.

I wouldn't panic yet. You said it had only been a week? If she is really 16, then maybe she has been in finals this week at school and not logged on. I know my 17 yo has been having finals all week.
