NJ Week

Was reading one of the threads and JKL Lady referred to NJ Week. Just wondering what this is about??????????????

"Jersey Week" is usually the first full week in November. Schools here are closed that Thursday & Friday for teacher's conventions (in Atlantic City, not Orlando), so a lot of people only have to take their kids out of school for a few days. Some schools are closed that entire week or most of that week. We have gone, the last two years, during "Jersey Week" and found it a little too crowded for us, so I don't think we'll be going back that week again.

"Jersey Week" as mentioned is the first full week of November. Our school district is closed for students on W-Th-F of that week, W-is teacher in service, and Th-F is Teacher's Convention in Atlantic City. We took our DD out of school for M-Tu of this week and went to VB this past November and had a GREAT time. It was very relaxing at VB and not crowded at all.

At check-in on Sunday night, we were asked if we were from NJ, and what was going on in NJ. Seems like most of the ressies for that week were people coming from NJ.

I think we will be going back to VB for another "Jersey Week" in the future!!!
