NJ week 2017

We were there from Oct. 28 - November 9th (last wednesday) From Sat. the 5th - Wed the 9th was absolutely insane. Epcot was just out of control with the wait times and so was Magic Kingdom. At one point on Saturday night, Soarin' was a 175 minute wait. We were so glad our entire family was down the week before where we could enjoy the parks way more. We would go early in the morning and then leave by around 1-2pm to go back to the hotel. I know it was alot going on in one week with tapings, food/wine, etc. also the wine and dine marathon brought MANY more people. Not sure how much jersey week factored in.

I am contemplating NJ week next year so I don't have to take my son out of school for too many days. I just talked to a coworker that was there last week and she said it was PACKED, in every park, every day! To the point that she didn't get on many rides she wanted to. I know they were filming the Christmas show, and it was Food and Wine, and Dapper day....do you think it was just a "perfect storm" or do you think NJ week is becoming one of those weeks to avoid? I'd rather have to deal with 2 more days of make up homework and be able to enjoy ourselves if it's going to be that crowded again next year. I'd love to hear from others that were there last week. Thanks!

We were there from 11/8-13. IMHO that the parks weren't bad during the week. Saturday, however, was another story. We went to the MK in the am and early afternoon and it was absolutely packed. We then went to Epcot later in the day because that's when I had our fast passes scheduled. It was a mob scene. At some points I thought it was as crowded as when we were there on New Years Eve.

It was still great fun though. This was the first time I got to go to the Food and Wine (my husband and I both retired this year). We were there with family and extended family which is always good.

We always had to go during the summer months and Christmas when my kids were in school so I'm use to big crowds.
