NJ Week 2006

Hi All

Just wanted to give all of my fellow NJ ers heads up
on NJ teachers convention 2006, or as the boards call it, NJ week.

Tickets are now on sale. I got my tickets last night. Don't laugh, I know we are real early, we got a "direct flight" out of LGA to MCO for $175.00

We're going anyone else?

Date for the future NJEA Convention
2006 Thursday, November 9
Friday, November 10
Saturday, November 11

We are going Jersey week, 11/06 also. We are going on 4 night Disney Cruise Nov. 5 and then staying in Universal for 3 nights from Nov. 9 -12. We were on the 11/10/05, 3 night Disney Cruise last month. Purtypati1; I recognize your name from the cruise meets forum for the 11/10/05 3 night Wonder. How did you like the cruise? I am still looking for airfare from Newark to Orlando. Continental just posted their rates, but they are high, like around $360 pp. I am waiting for Jetblue, but I right now they only have flights through Oct.6 so I guess it won't be till Feb.

Yes, we were on the 11/10/05 Wonder. We had the best time. The cruise was just perfect. We went to the Disney meet, & did meet a few people from the boards. We should have worn name tags, probably would have been more successful.

How did you like the Wonder? Did you get to meet anyone from the boards?
Did you have a Great time, did you leave the Wonder in Nassau?

We will be going on the DC Wonder for Thanksgiving 2006. Therefore, we will be only going to Disney World Thursday Nov 9, 2006 till Nov 12, 2006(teachers week) come home for a week, then leave the following Sunday Nov 19th & staying until Nov 26th.

I saw on Traveloity Continental is charging $208.00 for a direct flight from EWR to MCO Nov 5th thru the 12th.

Hi PURTYPAT1,

We had a fabulous time on the Disney Wonder, and can't wait to go again.
Unfortunately I missed the 3 pm Dis meet, so I didn't get to meet anyone from the boards. I wish I could have. We we went to the Atlantis, by booking a room at Comfort Suites, so we got to use the pools and we had fun. How about you. Did you do anything in Nassau?

Thanks so much for the flight info. I checked it out, but it seems that the cheaper flights are not for the right times (I need an earlier flight going there because I am flying in day of cruise, and also wanted a flight home that wasn't really early in the morning or late at night), but I'll check later to see if anything better comes up.
