NJ People: Are you ready for the rain?

It's been pouring like mad here in NY too. We've been getting a lot of rain, much more than usual, the past half year and I'm so over it!

Internet and phone service went out at work so I left the office, partly because of that and partly because DH is in the basement using the wet vac.

The sky is brightening right now so I hope the rain is stopping; if not, I'll be in the basement later relieving DH on the vac.

Our parks are under water, even the bridges. I'm sitting in my flooding basement, trying to keep up with the water.

Schools across Rhode Island are being closed and major highways are being shut down. My university shut down and cancelled all afternoon and night classes.
