I had posted this on another thread and then thought this might be a better place.

We are going to be at WDW 08/30-09/06, Since all the parks except Epcot are closing early, we were curious to know what there is to do outside of the world at night? Universal and Sea World also closing early.

Any thing interesting in the International Drive area?

thanks

You can check out Sak Comedy Lab, an improv comedy club. They have shows at 8 pm and 10 pm and just 8 pm on Tuesday.

You could try WonderWorks on I-Drive. It is kind of like DisneyQuest. There are the Pirates Dinner Show and the Arabian Nights Dinner show and the Dixie Stampede one. We like to go to City Walk at Universal even when we are not going there. They have a lot of restaurants and bars and shops. Kind of like Downtown Disney. You did not say if you had children or just adults. I guess that could narrow things down.

You can also try Old Town on 192 in Kissimmee. It has some interesting shops and resturants. Also on Fridays and Saturday nights there are car shows.

Wonderworks and the Ripley's Museum, both on International Drive, are open late - Ripley's sells their last ticket at midnight, I believe. There are also several elaborate miniature golf courses open pretty late.

We love to go to DisneyQuest. In my opinion, it's expensive, but we stay for hours!!
