Nit-picky driving directions once we are in Orlando.

Hey all!

We are arriving in Orlando the night before our trip actually begins. We are staying at the HOliday Inn Express Lake Buena Vista. AAA Trip Tik is bringing me in down 535 and straight to HIE without actually entering WDW.

I want to know how to come down 535 and loop around so we pass the signs welcoming us to WDW... then we can pass DTD and head back to the hotel. I know it's back tracking a little but it's important to "set the mood"

Where, exactly, is the hotel?

From I 4 take exit 67 for Epcot Center Dr then take the first right and you merge onto Buena Vista Dr, follow that and it will take you past the Downtown Disney area. Keep to the right and take Hotel Plaza Blvd which will take you past the Hilton, DTD Holiday Inn, Regal Palms etc. Follow this to the intersection with 535 and take a left onto 535, then a right onto Palm Parkway and HI Express is on the corner on your right.
There will be signs on Disney roads directing you to DTD.

On this map if you click on marker #174 Hilton (and zoom in) and look to the right you'll see I 4 and the upcoming exit (going west/south) will be 67. Just follow the above directions and you'll see how to do it.

There's a big welcome sign on Epcot Center Dr just after you come off the exit. If you zoom in on the map you can do a street view and see it.

There are two HIE, Lake Buena Vista. The other one, LBV East, is located at 3484 Polynesian Isle Blvd in Kissimmee. From Hotel Plaza Blvd, take a right onto 535 and it's 3 or 4 miles on the right. But there is a shorter way back to the second HIE if you want to drive thru the gate and not have to go thru DTD and Hotel Plaza Blvd in order to get to that HIE. Take a left instead of a right off the exit and at the next light, take a right. That puts you back on Epcot Center Drive except going back to the HIE. Take a right on 535 at the 2nd light. HIE,LBV East is on the right about a half mile down.
