Nissan Armada

Thinking about purchasing a Nissan Armada this weekened. Please tell me the good and the bad.

I would like to know this as well. I'm not as close to purchasing tho Doing some research I read that it is quite the gas guzzler. How bad is bad?

I love my Nissan's and have always driven a Nissan. I wanted the Armada after we paid off the Titan but I have heard it definitely sucks up the fuel. I am debating between the Armada and the Sequoia now.

My mom had one and loved loved loved it. However, over 100 dollars every time she went to fill up the tank!

Like others have said, the gas mileage is horrible, about the same as any other SUV in its class.

Gas is the same as any other Large Suv but it's a dreamy drive! If you need the space go for it!

My sister has one and tho I think she likes it, it does SUCK up the gas!! I would NEVER have one tho for several reasons........

1. The gas it takes to put in it.
2. I dont like the way it rides.......I feel like Im in a truck and bouncing around.
3. Tho I like the space it offers, its just too big for me to be comfortable with trying to get in and out of parking spaces. When I drive hers, I make sure there is atleast several empty spots around me.

I bought a used one in November and I love it! I traded my Honda Pilot for the Armada and I've never been sorry!

We love ours. Mileage is 15 to 17 around town and 19 on the highway, I have to disagree with a PP, our doesn't ride like a truck. Very comfortable ride.

I drove a Nissan XTerra for 6 years and it was one of the best vehicles I have had, other than my current car, which is the bomb! But anyway. I thought I wanted an Armada until I heard how much gas it takes to fill it up and how much it uses it. I can't spend $400 a month on GAS then $400 a month on the payment then $100 on the insurance, plus car tags and taxes, that vehicle will cost you a thousand a month just for ONE CAR.

I think if I were going to go back into a Nissan SUV I would probably go with the in between size, the Pathfinder. It's bigger than the XTerra but smaller than the Armada. And has way better gas mileage. I got great gas mileage in the XTerra.

We just bought a new Altima and were looking at the Armada. It is obscene how awful the mileage is.

And what were they thinking with the name? When you say armada, most people will think of the Spanish armada, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Mine gets around 13-14 in town but DH says it's because I drive too fast. And I don't know what the PP is comparing the comfort level to because it is incredibly comfortable and smooth, much nicer than my MIL's Tahoe.

I am a Toyota girl but I have 2 close friends that love their Armada's.
