Have you seen this? Watch the video.
If you have one, what do you think of it?
I'm tempted to buy one, but wonder about not being able to use my tray.
Also wonder if a laptop fits, or just netbooks.

Cross country non-stop flights are long & I like to have lots of different things to keep me occupied.

Also wonder if it will interfer with viewing TV screen in seat backs, but I doubt it.

Don't own one and have never seen anyone use one.

On a flight this weekend, they said new FAA guidelines say that you can no longer have your laptop in the seat pocket. It has to be in the overhead or under the seat in front of you.

Personally, I don't think I would like this. It seems it would take up too much space especially if the person in front of you puts their seat back.

I also think it might interfere with the in seat TV screens. And not sure that you would be able to use your tray.

Just my 2 cents!

Oh, thanks for the info about new FAA guidelines. Will probably not get it then unless I get it for other reasons. I like using my tray at times too.

Seems like a lot of "stuff" for someone to need such immediate access to. Laptop or not, I can't imagine being allowed to maintain the organizer in that location during take off or landing.

I don't think its meant just for having access to while on the plane. Its your bag too, so it just happens to have all that stuff in it.

I keep a back at my feet & I feel like I'm constantly getting the bag & getting stuff, then putting it back. I don't like to use the seat pocket for fear of forgetting something in it. I like to put things back into my bag.

Friend recently left camera in seat pocket, and wallet fell from her pocket & wedged between seat. Same flight, poor thing. Hassle trying to pay for car to get out of parking garage. Eventually got wallet back. Never saw the camera again.

Good grief...how long is this flight? It seems a bit excessive to think that one needs that much stuff for a simple flight.

Besides that isn't it a rule that all cosmetics must me in a "plastic" see through bag for travel? And liquids...aren't the a no-no? Seems like a product with no real practical use, but I could be missing something.

It is a nice concept. I could see using it for a baby, so that you have everything at your fingertips. But I don't have a need to access all my things like that.

You'd have to keep the the liquids/gels (less than 100mL) in your 3-1-1 baggie while going through security and you'd have to buy the water bottle after security.

Then, you'd have to put them all into that organiser.

You'd also have trouble if you actually needed to use your tray table and you'd have that stuff in your lap if the person in front of you reclined.

Seems like overkill. I was recently on a 14 hour flight and did not need that much stuff. Something like that might be good in a minivan with kids though.

I can't see the airlines allowing this in the first place, too many things to go flying around the cabin in turbulence.

I guess I'm in the minority b/c I think its awesome! Of course all my air travel is done with two small children so I do find I'm constantly in and out of the bags at my feet which isn't easy to do under normal circumstances let alone if the person in front of you has reclined their seat. We just booked our tickets to go to Hawaii next year and I think I'm going to get one - it looks easy enough to slip off if you do need your tray but since my DS usually has his down for me it isn't a must have.

They've been out for over 2 yrs. I would think if it was not approved for airline use, they would change their marketing approach. :confused3 Travel websites are selling them & have written about it.

FYI, I found them cheaper on Ebags, but didn't factor in the shipping. Maybe there is a coupon you could use too.
