Christian is trying his best to be a father to the baby. the other doctor turned 40 and developed a psychological tic in his hand which is keeping him from performing surgery. No mention of the drug dealers and the large breasted women transport vehicles anymore. The other doctor's wife didn't reveal anything about the paternity test. Christian was interviewing nannies for the baby and of course slept with the candidate. The baby's mother forgot her breast pump and made Christian empty the milk.
They are replaying the episode on Monday night before the next one on Tuesday. It won't help this week, but if you miss another, you will be able to catch it the day before.

Sean turned 40, and is starting to feel his age. He's developed a shaking or twitching in his wrist and he's concerned that he won't be able to perform surgery. His doctor said it's psychological.
Christian is bonding with the baby even though it's not his. Gina (the psycho mother of the baby) is very demanding of him and is very nasty. Christian also turned 40 and spent his birthday alone with the baby.
There was a woman who came in for major reconstructive surgery on her face because she told the doctors that she accidentally shot herself. It turns out that her gay friend (whom she's in love with but he doesn't love her like that) was the one that shot her. They made a pact to shoot and kill each other but she couldn't go through with it,. He did go through with it and her face was destroyed. At the end of the show she couldn't forgive the friend because he had fallen in love with a man so she shot and killed him in the hospital.
Julia's mother came to Sean for a face lift because she felt old. Christian ended up sleeping with her and doing the facelift because of Sean's wrist problems. The woman playing Julia's mother is her real mother (Vanessa Redgrave). I think she's going to be on another episode or two.
That's about all I can remember. The previews of coming shows look VERY interesting.

Yes, it was quite good. Christian hired a nanny, which was physically attractive. Christian winds up being physical with her during her nanny interview!
Later on, the nanny and Christian were um, together. The baby starts crying and the nanny dips the pacifier into some OTC medicine. This drives Christian over the edge and orders her out!

Yes, last episode of season one included the birth of the baby. It was quite a final 10 minutes of the show.
So, then why is the baby so much darker than Christian? The mother is very fair. So, then is there another woman involved?

The mother, a sexaholic, had "black out sex" as alcoholics might have black out binges, or so they said. The mother says she doesn't remember sleeping with anyone else, but obviously the baby isn't Christians. But, he stepped up to the plate and said he'd loved it since before he knew and he was going to be the father. You have to watch the last 10 minutes. My jaw hit the floor a couple of times in that segment!
