diznee25, that's what I've always thought, but I did miss an episode so I was afraid I missed some kind of clue or something. If it IS someone we know, I'd guess Merrill. We never really did see him die, did we? In fact I was really confused that after that episode with him cutting Christian's face it was never mentioned again (unless that was in the episode I missed!) and Christian had no scars or anything.

You are correct. The last episode with Merriel was when he tied Christian to a table and at Christian's suggestion, started cutting his own face in front of a mirror. And then Merriel fell to the ground. In this episode Merriel was always drugged up and making irrational decisions.

I believe Merriel is dead. Remember he was the one who killed a patient working at a nail salon, and put her pieces in a suit case. Christian knew what was in the suitcase. So if Christian was freed from the table, and Merriel wasn't dead, wouldn't Merriel be in jail for killing a patient and preforming surgery in a nail salon!? Or at the very least, be in jail for tieing Christian to a table and cutting him? (He did slash Christians face a bit, remember?)

I really don't think we know the slasher or if we do it's someone that has come on to the scene after the first slashing. Remember, the slasher character was introduced through the docs volunteering to fix the first victim's face. At that point the carver's intent was to ugly up some local models and these models do not appear to have been previous patients. Only after the doctors corrected scars did the focus turn to them personally. I cannot wait for next season!!!

Is the doc from Atlanta the one who fixed Seans' face? If so, I don't think he's the carver. He flew out to Florida at the request of Christian. I think the carver actually lives within Miami. This is where the show is set, correct?
