Nip/Tuck...new season thread!

So the new season of Nip/Tuck has started! What do you think? This show is a total guilty pleasure. The story lines are outrageously farfetched and I love every second of it! Not to mention the eye candy of Dr.'s Troy and McNamara. I was shocked with the story line they're starting with for Christian...breast cancer? Wow. And is he REALLY going to have sex with Liz??? Really?? I always liked how she stuck to her morals and values and was a strong female figure (and gave him crap all the time). I;m hoping to see far far less of Julia this year as she is my least favorite character. Weak and whiny...blech! I am also hoping that Sean finally develops a backbone and starts acting like a MAN instead of a whiny woman like his ex.

So who else is watching?

I have been watching since the first season and I think this year is going to be great! I am very curious to see how the Liz/Christian "affair" is going to work out.
I am curious if they are going to bring the daughter back that shot Julia? Isn't the daughter on the new 90210?

I must live in the dark ages, because I just found this show.
Love it! I googled the show to catch up on the drama (who was married to whom, who slept with whom, who tried to kill whom). Whew!! A lot of drama and a lot of eye candy (Christian is such a scumbag, but, what a hot scumbag!!) Since it's on late night cable, is that how they get around the steamy sex scenes??

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show.

I thought giving Dr Troy BREAST cancer was the definition of irony. He is constantly objectifying women, so what does he get? lol I also love that Liz is being nice to him, but I really hope they don't sleep together.

I wonder who/what the big bad will be this season?

I agree about Julia and you can add the son too for that matter. Now he is a whiny *****!

I wonder what Kimmy is up to?

I saw on the previews the other night that Kimber shows up w/ the baby girl and wants to model her. The daughter looks so funny in these big sunglasses. I think she wants Christian to perform plastic surgery on the baby

This show is really crazy. My sister and I watch it. We are always crackin up, can you imangine having a life like that. This season looks good...

Jennasis...I just said the same exact thing a few hours ago! I hope that icky Julia isn't in the show as often this year!! I really liked her in the first few seasons but last season it was almost painful to watch her!!
I read in an article about a year or year and a half ago that she wasn't going to be in the show anymore because her child has some sort of illness but she was in the whole first part of season five...has anyone else heard this or know about it???

I stopped liking Julia after I read that she had an affair w/ Matt (her son on the show). She is so paper thin its painful to watch.

We are hooked again. I thought giving Christian breast cancer was brilliant. Anyone know how many episodes we get this time?

According to IMDB it looks like Season 5(part two) will give us 8 more episodes. They also had titles for Season 6 with 8 episodes listed as air dat 2009.

I believe the "shooting" they are doing now will be season 10 yr 2010 and that will be the final year I can only imagine the envelopes they will be pushing next year.

I hope Christian doesn't screw over Liz like he does EVERYONE else. (Sorry but I didn't have a politer way to say that ) I like Liz a lot, so I hope she doesn't end up hurt.

I know many people don't like Julia, but I have to say Kimber is my least favorite character. Her personality is just so cold, evil and dirty!

I really liked Kimber's character at first, then when they put her together with Matt, I really didn't like her at all..., Now


I hate Kimber now that she has a child..I just want to scream at the TV!!!
