Nintendo Wii Games

I know that my DS can buy Gameboy and DS Console games in the USA to work in the UK, but does the same apply for the Nintendo Wii?

nope wii is region encoded,pal for erope and ntsl for states.Same with games for it

If you get a modchip fitted, most US games will work, but not all.
