:wizard: I have an ADR for Nine Dragons on one of the "extra hours" nights at Epcot. Since the reviews have been so mixed, I was wondering if there was another restaurant not in Epcot or World Showcase that we can to Epcot from easily. Any suggestions?

What about anything at the Boardwalk, Beach or Yacht Club?

Is Nine Dragons really that bad? We have ressies there, but I forget which night - schedule is at home. Should I change the ressies or give it a wing?

We ate there in May and found the menu to be very limited, but the food was quite tasty. The service was efficient and the restaurant clean and attractive. We ate there three years ago and enjoyed the meal very much. Unfortunately, the meal I was looking forward to ordering once again was no longer on the menu. My only complaint about the restaurant was that the menu had very few items from which to choose.

My husband and I really enjoy Nine Dragons, so much so that we dine there every year. My favorite appetizer there is the Sha Cha Beef Skewers and my favorite entree is the Sesame Chicken (sooooo yummy). We'll be going back in September! Sometimes I think you just have to ignore some of the bad (or good) reviews and go with what sounds good to you.

We have eaten here often and have always had good food. We often just go in and get soup, appetizer and split a entree. It's just enough for us. The food is pretty much what we're use to at home. The serving sizes are much smaller than our meals at home. We like them for a light lunch.

We ate there a year or so back, and were pleasantly surprised. I think a lot of people complain that it's not very authentic, or that they can get better Chinese food at home. My SIL is Chinese, she grew up in Singapore. She took the family to China, and boy did she hate the food "This isn't like the Chinese food I'm used to!!" was her cry. So what's authentic to one person, is something else entirely to another! We went with very few expectations, and got a nice tasty meal. The actual restaurant is very pretty too.

Thank you, Snow White and n2mm! My son and nephew are chicken and broccoli men and my daughter is a lo mein queen, which is pretty much standard Chinese fare. I'm a little more adventurous and like to try hot and spicy dishes.

Well we are a party of 13 that will be trying out Nine Dragons. Of course we have tried all kinds of different chinese rest. They all seem to vary. I have seen alot of bad reviews but we are willing to give a try! We read bad reviews on LTT and Garden Grill and we enjoyed the meal there. :thumbsup2
Good Luck!

We liked it a lot as well, the food and service were great, the only criticism we had was that the tables were rather close together, but that is not unusual at WDW.

:wizard: Thanks for the positive feedback. We originally had an ADR for Teppenyaki for 8/21, but since the opening has been moved back I needed to make an ADR elsewhere. My daughter and I love the egg rolls at the Lotus Blossom cafe (a must for us everytime we're in Epcot) so we decided to try the main restaurant. Then we read some of the negative reviews and got worried that we made a mistake:headache: Thanks for making us feel better!:)
