Will Nine Dragons accept take out orders?

We want to place an order to bring back to the room for the Super Bowl.

Thanks!

Table service restaurants are not set-up to handle take out orders. There may be a rare exception, in which case someone will correct me, but there are none to my knowledge.

OP, are you staying in one of the Epcot resorts? I know it's not the same, but I might suggest the Boardwalk pizza window as an alternative. We like their pizza and it's easy enough to pick a couple up and take them back to your room for the game.

There are plenty of local Chinese takeout joints, like Bamboo Court, that will deliver to Disney property. Check Yelp or Seamless. I know this isn't what you asked, but it might solve your problem.

This is what I was going to say. You might get better quality food for the $$ ordering delivery from a local restaurant.

There's Lotus Blossom Cafe next door/connected to Nine Dragons.

Lotus Blossom Cafe does not have takeout either.

Had not thought of a local delivery. Any suggestions on a good local restaurant that delivers? Does not have to be Chinese.

Thanks!

Tom

1) True.
2) True.
3) True.
4) Quick Service can wrap food, but Table Service eateries DO NOT have take-out.
. . . this would overload the kitchen, as staff and food needs cannot be predicted
. . . it would slow down the food service to seated guests

Certainly understand why they would not do it.

Had not thought about outside WDW options.

Are there any "go to" eateries outside of WDW that people favor for delivery?

So are you forced to throw out any leftovers? No boxing what you can't eat?

MG
no, but there is a difference between making an adr, sitting down, eating a meal, and asking for a box for the remainder and not having a reservation and asking the kitchen to cook and pack a meal to go.
Although honestly, even though we always stay in a one-bedroom with a kitchen, I cannot recall a time that I took leftovers to go. DH did once but he wasn't feeling well and left the restaurant after ordering his meal and I stayed with the kids.

My point is, if that particular restaurant is so important, be seated with ADR, order, and box the food.

Too much trouble for me when I can order local Chinese, but if for some reason that is a "must have" meal...

This may sound silly, but for takeout I often enjoy Panda Express. They have a "family feast" that is a great deal at only $34 or so (3 large entrees and 2 sides - I always get an extra noodle side as well since my kids like their noodles). Some afternoons, if I'm at our local mall and know my kids will want it, I'll grab it to take home.

It appears there is one on 192 not too far, so you could order from their app and take an Uber there and back. It would still honestly be cheaper than Nine Dragons, may take the adult that gets it an hour out of their afternoon, but still may be an option!

I haven't eaten at Nine Dragons in years, but what I recall was it wasn't good.

It's better than Panda Express.
