I've already posted a couple of reviews this morning so this will be brief. We ate here on Tuesday, 9/25. This was one of our best meals. Service was perfect. We were seated promptly. We had fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, won-ton soup, pepper beef, and other things! It was all great.

Glad you enjoyed it, it's one of our family's favorites! :)

We ate there on 9/24 for the first time and thought it was very good. In fact we are going back to WDW on 12/8 and when we just came home from this trip we called and cancelled one of our December ADR's so we could add Nine Dragons to that trip.

I'm glad you enjoyed it but I'm rather disappointed to hear that they serve fried rice and chicken balls and call it Chinese food. They aren't even trying to be authentic.

I don't know about the chicken balls.....but fried rice is one
of my favorite things when I eat chinese food:confused3 \

I have seen somewhere that Nine Dragons will be closed for renovations in 2008...anyone know if this is actually true? Can't find it on the official Disney website. Need to make ADR's for April very soon...

It just sounds like it's not actually authentic Chinese fried rice. The menu seems very Americanized. Not that there's anything wrong with Americanized Chinese food, but I just had higher expectations for Epcot.

The foods are highly spiced and very flavorful. It's not our local run of the mill Chinese restaurant.

I loved this restaurant when I went there awhile back, but apparently it is not very popular. There are still many available spots open for dinner in December.

Has anyone eaten recently at the Nine Dragons?? And how was it??:confused3

Nine Dragons' been closed for several months so you're not going find any recent review. Plus, it should be very different when it reopens which will make old reviews useless.

Can't wait to see what they do with the place.

Nine Dragons is currently closed for refurb. I believe it is suppose to re-open sometime in late Oct/Nov?

just me

:surfweb:

Late November for an opening I've been told.

I am hopeful for this restaurant... with refurbishment, maybe a new menu.....I hope they do well..

As long as they dont get rid of the Honey Sesame Chicken, my family is good with it:thumbsup2

I with ya! We are going in December and can't wait.

I didn't think of a menu change during refurb. I thought that meant painting, new carpet, New decor i should say.
