We'd like to Chinese/Asian food whilst on the dining plan...which out of the Nine Dragons of Yeti Yeti is better....

:wizard: We went to Yak and Yeti last summer and thought it was great! The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. We sat upstairs and had a window table and it was peaceful and fun to watch the people walking around outside.
We were at Nine Dragons before the renovation and didn't like the food at all. It was extremely salty and bland and I think there was only 2 dessert choices. I know it's been fixed up but it seems the menu is the same. Of the two I would highly recommend Yak and Yeti.

Yak & Yeti :thumbsup2 Food was very good and they have some wonderful "adult beverages"

I ate at Nine Dragons in October and it was EXCELLENT!! I can't comment on the changes in the menu since the rehab but I don't think I have heard any bad reviews since then. The food was definitely not bland! The service was the best I have ever had at WDW (next to V&A!!) and the atmosphere is quite nice. We had the noodle sampler (the spicy is REALLY spicy!) and the General's Chicken which was the special of the day(the spinach noodle is a nice change from rice!). We also had the Taro Shrimp Lollipops (especially loved the dipping sauce!) and the Beef Cong You Bing (yummy like a chinese quesadilla!). More people should give it a chance.

We ate at 9 Dragons over Christmas/NY and it was OUTSTANDING!!! The portions were good size and tasty. Our DD3 and DS5 (who really aren't into Chineese) scarfed their Sweet n Sour Chicken!!! I had the Honey sesame chicken and it was great...not dried out. Don't remember what DH had, but he liked it very much too.

I'm glad to read positive reviews as this is the restaurant we most want to go to this September as it was closed last year for rehab and we went to the Japanese restaurant and we thought it was just okay.

We loved our entrees and cocktails at Y&Y, the lettuce wraps we didnt care for and the desserts were not to my liking.

We are thinking of trying Nine Dragons for lunch in Oct

We ate at Yak and Yeti in June 2008, and enjoyed it alot! It was great food, had great flavor. We can sometimes be Asian food snobs, ;) and thought that it was great. We had some cocktails, Bamboo shooter was excellent, we had the steak and shrimp combo, beef and broccoli, and sweet and sour chicken. All entrees were excellent!

I would do Nine Dragons! We ate at both Nine Dragons and Y&Y in Oct. We did not like Y&Y at all, well we did enjoy the desert. My DM and I both had the shrimp and they tasted like iodine. Yeek! We did sit upstairs in the corner and had a good view of the Parade, so that was fun. Now for Nine Dragons the food was yummy, yummy. We both had the Honey Sesame chicken and it was great!!! The desert was even better, we had the Banana Cheesecake Egg Roll and it was mouth watering.

I've not tried Nine Dragons (we need to, though), but we've tried Yak and Yeti and loved it.

Yak and Yeti has two strikes with us now so I wouldn't select it. And I wouldn't call it Asian after the pho we were served.

I have enjoyed both. I think nine dragons is more traditional while Y&Y is more asian fusion. JMHO.

I much prefer Nine Dragons... the last trip we ate at both and I found the food at Yak and Yeti lacking any excitement, plus my food came out super greasy. Although, I'll be honest, I do  the drink menu @ Yak and Yeti

I would choose Yak & Yeti. DH and I ate there our last trip and thought the food was superb.
