we plan on eating here. there is not much talk about it. was wondering if it is any good. thanks!

Since you asked for opinions, here is mine. I wouldn't eat there again on a bet. I love Chinese food. This should be the best Chinese food around. It's not. The service is slow, it's overpriced and pedestrian. You can find better, cheaper Chinese food in your own town. The good point is that the place is pretty but to me that doesn't overrule the overpriced mediocre food. The cafe next door is worse. That is where cold, greasy noodles go to die.

We love it and won't miss it. We have good chinese around home, but still think it's good.

We enjoyed it when we went in July. The red bean ice cream is YUMMY!!

We ate there less than 2 weeks ago and we all loved it. My picky eater even tried things that he has never been willing to try at home. We went there on the spur of the moment and it is now on our list of must-dos for our next trip. But maybe I shouldn't tell everyone how great it is, that way we won't need an ADR for it.

We had dinner there Saturday night. It was excellent - and we eat Chinese food at home quite a bit. Service was very good and the portions were large. We asked for something with the sauce on the side and they did it no problem. We thought it was superb.

I love chinese, and I thought this place was pretty good. My local is my favorite (but thats usually because I eat to much there). I didn't overstuff myself at the Nine Dragons, just enjoyed it. My partner loved it! He usually isn't much into chinese food at all. I suggested we eat at the Nine Dragons on our last visit, he was reluctant. After the food was served he swears it was the best ever. Haha, so we too will be eating there again this November. :teeth:

I've heard bad things about Nine Dragons in many posts but, we tried it last year and had an excellent meal. We orderd the Bejing Duck and it was very nicely presented (A guy comes out and carves the whole duck for you then serves it). The duck was wonderful, you eat it on these weird fluffy white pancake things. We are going back for the duck meal when we return to WDW later this month. We also found the service to be excellent. Give it a try! I mean, I've eaten an immaculate meal of Peking duck in Hong Kong, no less, and am a bit of a snob in many respects and I was happy. :cool1:

We've eaten there several times and always find it delicious

BEAUTIFUL dining room.

OK service.

Where I live (Portland, OR) the average Chinese resturant is a little better and about 1/3 the price. The better Chinese resturants are, well, better. :teeth:

If I were paying cash for it... NO WAY.

Might be a possibility on the dining plan, as I would not feel burned by the prices.

The food is not bad, but there are better choices unless you're at the parks for a while. We will be there for 8 dinners, and it just missed the cut.
