nine dragons/china

we literally stumbled into nine dragons by accident on our last trip (it was pouring down torrential rain in the dark and we were just looking for a port in the storm and there was the door to nine dragons and in we went) and it was also a highlight meal! we loved it! kids loved it! service was excellent! ds is looking forward to eating there again (and again and again if he has his way!)

My DH and I also had never tried Nine Dragons because of bad reviews. However, we finally tried it last night at it was AWESOME! We started with the spring rolls (very light and tasty) and dumpling soup (hit the spot since it was raining!). My husband had the honey sesame chicken - the chicken was high quality and very moist, and the honey and sesame flavors were delicious. I had the shrimp and veggie stir fry which was not as flavorful, but there were more shrimp (plump and tasty!) than I could ever eat and a great variety of vegetables (loved the rich mushrooms). We can't wait to go back and try some of the other interesting dishes we saw the people around us getting.

If you've skipped this restaurant in the past, definitely give it a try. I'm sure glad we did!
