Nikon P7100

Does anyone have this camera? Wondering what people think of it. I am looking for a better point and shoot for hiking. My D80 is just to much to carry up some of the stuff we hike. I am also looking into Canon G12 since I have a small Canon p&s that I love but I guess the P7100 can use my SB600 flash which might be handy.

I have the P7000. Very competent and capable camera. It produces good RAW files, has manual controls if you prefer. The only down side is the same as other point & shoots - it's slow. There is shutter lag, so don't expect to use it for action shots. Otherwise, I think it would suit you very well for a lightweight camera with excellent quality.

Thanks. Good to hear its a decent camera. The reviews say the speed has been improved over the P7000.
