Nikon DSLR Users - Anyone At DWorld Currently?

This is a stretch but are and Nikon DSLR users at DWorld? Stupid me forgot to bring full battries and the chager and I am in desperate need to charge them? I am hoping I can find a charger to buy at a Best Buy but I just don't know. I use Nikon D50

I'm here right now. If your battery is the same as the D80 or D3, then I have a charger.

I really know what you're going through. I did the same thing in June, left with 1 battery not fully charged and no charger. FYI I had my brother send it FedEx Next Day and it was less than $20 for a charger + 2 batteries. If you can get someone to do it (and are staying at a Dis Hotel) they will hold it at guest services for you when it comes in. If you don't have anyone to send it to you, I Google'd camera shops near Lake Buena Vista and got this

If you're at a Disney Hotel ask the Concierge Desk if they can help you at all. They may even have a charger for that model.

I just looked both the D80 and the D50 and it looks like they both use EN-EL3e

My SIL was able to leave her battery (Don't know for which camera though) at the camera shop thingy in EPCOT and they charged it for her for free. (Gotta love Disney service! ) It's definately worth calling and asking.

It looks like it works for different versions of the Coolpix also.

The D50 was shipped with the EN-EL3a, but will also take the EN-EL3e and they both use the same charger.

I have both the D50 and the D80 and for some reason I remember having to buy an extra battery for the D80 because the extra D50 battery I had didn't fit. It surprised me since they look almost identical- the D80 battery might have been a tad smaller. This was a year ago and the D50 is away at school with DD so I can't double check. I could be crazy also!! If Chikabowa is handy to you its definitely worth a try. Good luck!

Thanks very much Chicka for the offer very much. Hadn't planned on buying a new adapter until I checked out to see if there are any replies. But I saw a Best Buy and stopped by ands found one for relatively cheep. It is worth it since this is my husband and son's first trip here. This one I can keep in my bag and the main one keep at home.
