Hi all. I currently own a D5000 and love it. I currently have the 18-105 lens. Problem is my husband dropped my camera and the lens broke. the small plastic rim where the lens attaches to the camera body broke off. I don't know if it's repairable, but I'm okay if it's not. I have started looking at new lens options for me.
I have read about the 18-200 lens and that seems to be a nice way to go. And it would be in the budget. I mainly use my camera to shoot my family and landscape shots (think vacation). I would rather have one go to lens than 2 or 3 that I need to switch out. Eventually I might get to that point, but for now I want a good lens that will do lots.
Does anyone have any thoughts/opinions? I am a beginner so keep it simple for me.
Thanks.
Raegan
