I am a VERY amateur photographer that just recently made the move from 35mm to digital. I bought a NIKON Coolpix L110 to take to WDW last year but never really spent much time getting to learn how to take pictures beyond EASY mode. I just started to read through additional topics in the manual and found out that there is no easy way to take firework pictures with this camera. BIG TIME disappointment for me but it is what it is at the moment and I'm stuck with what I have. Can some one educate me on the best way to take firework pictures with this camera? I do have a few tripods that will fit into my luggage that I can bring along on my upcoming trip.

Yes, a tripod will help.
The closest setting that looks like it will work is the night landscape scene (in your scene mode)
