MGM Day. (it was MGM when we were there)
We were up early again. Showers taken, breakfast in the room. It was getting a little harder to get everyone up. A lot of moaning and groaning and "do we have to's".
Yep, you do!!
From Boardwalk you can either take the boat or walk. Apparently it's a pretty short walk to MGM.
We took the boat.
Seriously, I don't know who came up with the short walk thing, but it seemed like the boat took forever to get there and I believe the walk runs parallel with the boat?? Definitely NOT a short walk.
Anyway we make it there with no complications. Our driver did a little trivia thing. He even had prizes.
Park Maps!!
I get my purse checked, fingers scanned and we are on our way.
It seemed pretty crowded here today. So much for thinking the Thanksgiving crowds were leaving. I don't think you can plan around anything anymore. Everyone loves Disney and they are coming when you are.
We were just walking along heading toward the Hat when Robby spotted my future daughter in law. He even had the guts to go ask her to get in a picture with him.

That's my boy!
Don't they make a cute couple??
First thing on the agenda was to score our fastpasses for RRC or TOT. Now Jay and I don't do the whole drop thing so we sent the boys to TOT and we went to get the RRC passes and went back to meet the boys. We went inside the dump shop and found our way into the exit area where the pictures are.
This place is a little creepy.
This woman gets off with a little boy. Dad is sitting there waiting for them. Poor little guy is bawling his eyes out. Telling his mom she is mean. Really putting the emphasis on MEAN! She keeps telling him he is brave, he keeps telling her she's mean. He won't have anything to do with her, totally clinging to dad. Of course Jay and I are staring. Pretty much because we have nothing better to do. She looks at us and smiles. I don't know if she was thinking we would thing better of her for smiling.

So I smiled back??
She did tell him he didn't have to do it again!!
The boys finally come off. We check out the pic and we are off to RRC.
Why don't all the rides have the Photopass option? I hardly ever see anyone buying them.
Oh, here's my TOT pic.
I haven't ever rode RRC before. I really wanted to make this trip memorable for the boys, so I cowboyed up and went for it.
How freakin cool!! I LOVE this coaster. I really wish I could convince Jay to ride them. I am the biggest wimp ever, so I know he could handle it.
We had never seen the Indy show either so we went to check out the times. There was still an hour wait. What to do? what to do?
Sounds Dangerous!
Does anyone remember when actual people got on the stage and had to keep up with the noises on the screen. This was hillarious.
Where did it go?
I have no idea what this new thing is about. Freaking you out by making you sit in total darkness?? Maybe?
There was this woman sitting in the row in front of us. I guess she got a little scared because she took her cell phone out and opened it up. Normally things like this would bother me because I would want to experience the show the way it was intended. Not this time, the light was a welcome sight. You could really see she was scared. She had her head down and she was kind of rocking.
Another thing about this show. Do they clean the headphones after it's over?? I'm betting no. This is really gross. I kept thinking about all the ear wax and possible head lice.
This is another one added to my "never do again" list.
It was almost time for Indy when we got back over there. We liked it. It didn't rock my world but after what we had just came from, it was awesome!
After Indy, we had some lunch at Backstage something. I remember it being pretty good.
We had some company while we were eating.
We didn't really know where we were going after we ate. This park is just really confusing. As we were walking we ran into these guys.
Silly girl in the yellow, get the heck out of my picture. I swear she just wouldn't GO. I thought maybe she'd pick up pace, or slow down. Nope!
I got a great pic of the Osbourne Spectacle of Lights.
Too bad they weren't on yet!
We found our way to Journey into Narnia. Okay Disney, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?? The set is really pretty with all the snow covered pine trees. But that's all. I really thought it was going to take you through different sets.
Add to list!!
Next was the Great Movie Ride. I have been reading a lot of negative comments about it. I happen to love it. I don't know why. Nostalgia?? I dunno. But I do love it.
Isn't Emerald City beautiful??
