Nike Straprunners?

Hi all!

Last year my boyfriend and I tried wearing Teva's at WDW and they worked pretty well, but by the end of our vacation our feet were SO SORE we could barely walk for a week. This year I bought Nike Straprunners, since the sole seemed much softer than the Teva's. Does anyone have any thoughts about Straprunners vs. Teva's? How well do they hold up after a week of walking around WDW?

I love my Nike Straprunners. I heard of these sandals a couple of years ago from these boards.

I got a pair for our week long vacation back in 2001 and they were wonderful. I got a new pair for trip last year in 2003 and they were still great. I wore them all the time.

I still take a package of moleskin with me just in case I get a sore spot. The moleskin will do the trick.

I did try to wear them in just a little before each trip.

Love the straprunners very comfortable on the feet!!! Just break them in a few weeks before Disney. Also get a pedicure....I have seen very bad looking toes at Disney!

Oof, don't talk to me about bad looking toes! I am in desperate need of some lotion and nailpolish!

I've been wearing my Straprunners here in Phoenix and LOVING them! Can't wait to try them out at WDW too. It was so odd, last year my Teva's worked great for a few days, but once we got to Universal Studios and tried to cram BOTH US parks into one day, our feet were toast! We got home to Chicago and hobbled around for days! It was so sad!

A few years back I lived in my Tevas. So they were well worn in by the time I got to Disney. They failed me, rubbed the wrong way
So I bought a pair of Nike straprunner 2. They were comfortable from day one, never failed me. I am on my second pair (straprunner 2's). I don't think they make straprunners 2's anymore so I will be in trouble when these wear out.
