Nighttime Parade?

Any rumors on if there will be any nighttime parades this year? We are headed there this June and my son will finally be old enough to (possibly) stay away long enough for nighttime entertainment. Was really hoping for a parade but haven't seen if there are rumors of any returning.

I think there is about a 0% chance of another new parade debuting this year, since the new daytime parade just started yesterday. I would be thrilled to see PTN return to DCA, but not holding my breath.

Me too. A CM I talked to yesterday who was in PTN said it “didn’t draw enough crowds” when it was at DCA to justify the cost of running it on the longer route there. She also said she heard they might bring it back to DL, but since “Magic Happens” basically has a night mode, I’m not sure what sense that would make...

A girl I know at work has a cousin who's friend has a friend of a friend in TDA management that says the Main Street Electrical Parade is coming back May 15th.

The wikipedia page for Paint the Night says its coming back to DCA in May 2020, but I can't find a source for that. Anyone hear anything about that?

It’s no PTN.

I like the new parade a lot! And the floats have some elements that look cool at night for sure. But the performers don’t have anything that lights up or anything, so they’re much harder to see at night... it’s a parade that works at night, not a nighttime parade.

A YouTuber I follow gave it 8/10 rating, saying it was not as good as Paint the Night but better than the last parade? Others think the later showing is better because there's less sun glare and you can see some elements better. I watched it online and thought the dancing looked cool.
