Nighttime extra hours - how crowded?

We'll have an MGM late closing during our upcoming visit. The UG rates that date as a "4" crowd level. What should we expect after regular park closing? No lines, even on headliners? Still very crowded and need to use Fastpass?

We'll get out of Fantasmic 2 1/2 hours before the late close, and I'd like to figure out what rides we'll be able to squeeze in at the end. Since this is the last day of our trip, I don't want to leave anything for the end if it might make us miss it altogether.

It depends when you go. My sister went to evening EMH on 1/2 and she said the crowds were low. 5 attractions in 1.5 hr with 4 young children.

We've had mixed reports. It's still so early to tell. It does appear that the evening EMH is more crowded and popular than the morning.

We were at Disney back in May 2004 when they first tested out the EMHs. I can tell you that the parks that were open the few extra hours at night were crowded. There were lines to all the big rides and they were just as bad as it was when the park was open to everyone. I actually liked it better when they had the e-nights because it never got too bad and the longest wait on the big rides were at most 20 minutes. Expect the park with the EMHs to be crowded and to have the same lines as you had when you were there during the day.

We were there from Jan 2 - Jan 8. We did the extra evening at MK, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. We found the crowds weren't too bad. AK was empty, so was Epcot. At MK all the lines were at Fantasyland. But we really enjoyed it.

OK, we'll have to wait and see. I think we better plan on hitting any umissable attractions earlier just in case there are big crowds.

Last Sunday (1/9) was an EMH night at MGM. My 2 teens left MK at closing (7pm) and rode the busses over to MGM. They said it wasn't crowded at all. They said the waits were like 5 minutes.
